This category is based on publishers' combined shares of repertoire from the A-sides of the top 100 singles and top 50 albums from 2008.

The top 100 singles and top 50 albums are identified as those appearing in the year-end charts as calculated by the Official UK Charts Company, using sales data from a panel of more than 5,600 record outlets across the UK every week
