The Music Week Awards are proud to announce the shortlist for 2009.

The shortlist highlights the final contenders, as the Music Week Awards looks to recognise excellence in the industry encompassing retail, live, broadcasting, digital, marketing, promotions and PR.
 
In addition, to the categories shortlisted below a string of other awards, including recognition for the top publisher and independent publisher, record company and independent record company, concert promoter, manager, as well as the A&R award and the Strat Award for outstanding contribution to the music business, will be presented on the night.

We have had an excellent response from the industry again this year, and along with this and the rigorous entry and judging system, it really is a great achievement to be shortlisted.
